Caught In The Act

Work With Young People

Caught In The Act's acclaimed approach to working with young people is defined by the provision of honest accurate information and open exploration of the issues. This, combined with the funny and furious pace of the plays, offers the audience a credible basis for making informed choices.

Caught In The Act has been working with young people since 1989; we work within the National Curriculum and act as a resource for teachers. We provide written support information as well as INSET. The work has been used in mainstream primary and secondary schools, pupil referral units, youth clubs, special schools, colleges, youth offending teams and prisons. Early 2006 sees the release of Caught In The Act's first animated project, developed and funded in partnership with Bedfordshire County Council.

As well as the plays, Caught In The Act develops long-term workshop programmes for pupils. Some previous projects also include Multiple Choice (crime reduction for 13-16 year olds) and It Makes Me Sick (a history of public health for 9-11 year olds).
